Whether it's your weekend warrior or a lovingly cared for restoration project, we know how much you love your classic car as we love ours just as much! Our specialist team shares your appreciation and enthusiasm for the vintage vehicle, and we are committed to getting you the cover you need at a great price.
We offer classic car insurance in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, so whether you're from Tyrone or Tipperary, we can sort you out.
Fully Comprehensive cover
This is the highest level of cover we offer giving you peace of mind knowing that your classic vehicle is well protected.
All classic vehicle types
We insure all types of classic vehicles including cars, motorcycles, commercial, military and agricultural vehicles.
Each vehicle will have a set mileage bracket and your premium will be based on this. If there are multiple vehicles, this mileage will be between the vehicles on the policy.
We understand the importance of insuring your classic vehicle for its true value, therefore our policy will be issued on an agreed value basis (valuations / photographs may be required depending on the value).
Storage or ‘laid up’ cover
If you are putting your vehicle into storage for the winter or getting work done, you can insure it on a ‘laid up’ or ‘off road’ cover protecting it from fire, theft, and accidental damage whilst at the declared garaging address. It means you will only pay for the level of cover you need while your car is in storage rather than the level of cover you need when you’re out on the road.
Guaranteed salvage buy back
In the case that your car has been written off, you may have the option to buy back the salvage from your insurers, subject to write off category.
It’s important to note that there are some factors to take into account before applying for classic car insurance:
Driver Age - Policyholders have to be over 25 years old (however certain risks may require policyholders to be 30 years old).
ROI Residents – A vehicle has to be 25+ years old; although consideration will be given on a bespoke basis.
NI Residents – A vehicle has to be 20+ years old; although consideration will be given on a bespoke basis.
No, it is not a necessary requirement that you are a member of a club, however you can benefit from up to 10% discount on your classic car insurance policy if you are a member of a recognised classic club
You will be able to increase your mileage throughout the year subject to an additional premium and within the maximum 5000 miles.
No, the classic insurance is a specialist policy and you would generally have the driving other cars extension on your daily private car insurance.
